• I was REALLY looking forward to the delivery of this book, as it appeared to be a very well put together survival manual from an "expert" in the field.... Disappointed! The author writes very amateurish, and much of his advice is common sense and not very profound for someone with his experience. The pictures aren't very useful or interesting, more like they were only put there as fluff... But most of all, THE EDITING WAS ATROCIOUS. Quite possibly the worst I have ever come across in a modern book! I would look elsewhere for a useful Survival handbook
• The author systematically writes about each type of disaster and what to watch out for. It's certainly worth the money.
• I cannot recommend this amazing work highly enough. Mr. Davis covers just about any scenario you can imagine - even to recharging your cell phone under less than ideal conditions. This is one you want to have ready to grab if that tornado, hurricane, blizzard, or much worse is bearing down on you. And let's all hope that all it's ever going to be is just another pretty book on your shelf. But get it...
• GOOD READ, NEVER HURTS TO GET NEW IDEAS
• Helpful everyday tips to cope with events that may or may not happen. Does not mean you need to go overboard but after reading it I feel better prepared for natural situations-disasters that may/can occur each season.
• I have read several survival books and I enjoyed this one most. I like the way it is organized and presented and covers every scenario.
