- Lots of pictures of many of the ways (but not exhaustive -- Lord Jagannath, one of my favorite Hindu deities, didn't make the cut) of the paintings, carvings, etchings and woodblock attempts to depict the un-knowable. Since I do a lot of inter-faith work, I have used this several times just to remind people of how we all tend to make "god" in our own image -- and of how much we can learn about the infinite revelations of God given to people across the centuries and around the world. I have used mine for reference and for musing, and I just bought an extra copy to give to a Catholic priest I know who thinks in interesting ways. I know he'll love it.
